The Western Balkans Enterprise Development and Innovation Facility (WB EDIF) supports the growth and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises across the region. Rather than providing funding directly to businesses, it works through partner banks, financial institutions and investment funds to improve access to loans, guarantees, equity investments and business advisory services. The initiative helps SMEs innovate, expand and become more competitive in both regional and European markets.
