Lot 1 Supply of Information System and Hardware on central location for Customs Controls & Investigation Management Platform

Project Description

This action supports the digital transformation and strengthening of the operational capacities of the Customs Administration by establishing an internal platform for electronic control and investigations, alongside the provision of advanced IT infrastructure.

The project introduces a dedicated software solution that enables the systematic collection, management, and analysis of data related to customs operations, monitoring, investigations, and prosecution of cross-border crime cases. By improving access to and use of information, the platform enhances coordination, efficiency, and evidence-based decision-making within the Sector for Control and Investigations.

In parallel, the supply of high-performance IT equipment for the central server room ensures the reliability, security, and processing capacity required for handling large volumes of operational data. Together, these interventions contribute to more effective customs control, stronger law enforcement, and alignment with EU standards in digital governance and border management.
Specific Objective

The overall objective is to strengthen the Customs Administration's capacity to effectively combat cross-border crime, illicit trade, and corruption through digitalisation and improved data management.
